Support Groups

Finding comfort and solutions in your community.

Recent studies have shown that peer support systems, such as our caregiver sessions, can have a direct, positive impact not only on your mental and physical health, but also that of other participants.

Monthly Support Groups

We are proud to offer support groups at 3 Northwest Arkansas locations. If you’re not already involved in a support group, please join us or we’ll help you find a group in your community.

  • Connections

Support sessions allow you to connect with others, share feelings, and seek advice.

  • Experience

Sessions are led by caregivers with the training and experience to provide accurate and responsible advice.

  • Comfort

All support sessions are held in a safe and comfortable environment.

  • Respite

Caregiver assistance is available for attendees at no cost.

Caregiver Coaching

Expert guidance when you need it most.

Over 30% of individuals dependent on in-home caregivers in the United States have Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.

“My loved one has just been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s…now what?”

Over 10 years ago, Alzheimer’s Disease first impacted the Broyles Family. Resources and advice on how to care for someone with Alzheimer’s were sparse, and the family had few options other than in-home care. The Broyles Family’s experience highlighted the grave need for community-focused support systems for Alzheimer’s caregivers in crisis.

“We’ve been there…and we can help!”

  • Help When You Need It

Counseling sessions take place in accordance with the individual caregiver’s needs and schedule. Phone counseling is another option for busy families or for families who live in different areas of the country.

Referral Services

Let us help you find the best care for your loved ones.

There are over 15,000 nursing homes that provide Alzheimer’s care in the United States, with over 50% of their occupants suffering from some form of dementia.

We can help you find the right facilities and services for your loved ones.

Our experienced team members meet with caregivers to provide advice on hiring outside care services or moving a loved one to a care facility. By receiving appropriate options for care based on individual wants and needs, caregivers are relieved of some of the stress and confusion associated with making these decisions.

Our Game Plan

  • Step 1

Provide recommendations and advice on services available to caregivers in their community.

  • Step 2

Strategize with caregivers to formulate a game plan for how to manage in-home care.

  • Step 3

Provide caregivers with information and contacts for facilities tailored to the individual needs of loved ones.

Our Partners

Hand-picked companies you know you can trust.

Not all home care products are safe to use around those with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. 1 in 10 deaths in the United States are related to dementia, and a growing percentage of these fatal incidents are caused by improper use of consumer goods.

Dementia-Friendly Partners

Giving you confidence in your caregiving.

The Broyles Foundation is proud to announce Dementia-Friendly Partners, a trademarked seal of approval for products that are helpful to the care and wellbeing of those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The seal certifies and identifies products as “dementia friendly,” which helps take the stress out of decision making for caregivers.

  • Items marked as ‘dementia-friendly’ are guaranteed to provide maximum safety in places of care.
  • Our Dementia-Friendly Partners are trained to provide support and advice about product selection and consumer choice.
